The “Charge now” or “Order now” option enables consumers to place an order immediately in the event of pressing needs. The order is immediately billed, and the subsequent charges are rescheduled according to the subscription’s billing cycle.

This section will walk you through all the options on how you or the customer can place an order on loop.


Suppose the delivery schedule of a particular subscription is “Every Week” and the customer’s current order is being placed every Saturday. In this case, if the customer places the order on Friday due to some urgent need for the product. Resulting, the subsequent orders will be recalculated based on this action and will be every Friday.





In case an Anchor day is present on the subscription - the next order will be scheduled taking the Anchor into account and will be rescheduled to the nearest Anchor for that particular subscription.






Customers can place an order for themselves directly from the Loop customer portal. For a customer to be able to do this, the following prerequisites must be met.

Prerequisites


Customer should have an active subscription on Loop or should have purchased a subscription prior.
The option called “Place Order” should be enabled. This option can be found by heading to Customer Portal > Preferences > Subscription Details.



If all the above prerequisites have been met. Here is a step-by-step illustration of how the option works.




Click on “Order Now”, and press “Confirm.”



Place an order from Loop Admin Portal


There might be a requirement if a customer phones in and asks the merchant to place an order on their behalf. In such cases, the merchant can manually place an order on behalf of the customer from the Loop admin portal. To do so, the following requirements will need to be met.

Prerequisites


Customer should have an active subscription on Loop or should have purchased a subscription prior.

If all the prerequisites are satisfied, then the merchant can create a subscription in the following way-

By heading over to loop, you can search for the customer with “ Subscription ID”; in the “ Order Schedule,” you have to click on place order.


And “Confirm.”
