Setting widget preferences

Now we'll move to the next tab called Preferences, where you can enable or disable various widget customization settings.

The table below explains each option to help you set up as needed.

Setting

Description

Option selected by default

This setting allows you to define the default selection on the widget — either a one-time purchase or a subscription.

Purchase options order

This setting allows you to define the default order on the widget, display subscription first or display one-time purchase first.

Show the discount badge for subscription option

If enabled, this setting allows you to display the discount badge on the plan.

Show the strikethrough one-time price for subscription option

This setting will show the discounted price against the original price on the subscription option, i.e. $10 -> $9

Hide the 'each' label shown below the price amount

If this setting is disabled, it will append each keyword against the price of the item

Show the plan selector as text if only one selling plan is available

This will show the subscription plan selector as text when enabled.

Always show the selling plan description even if the plan is not selected

Used to display the description of the selling plan on the widget.

Show subscription details popup highlighting subscription benefits

If this setting is disabled, the details popup will be hidden on the widget that tells us about the benefits of the subscription.

Show total billing price for prepaid plans in addition to per delivery price

If this setting is enabled, both the total price and the per-delivery price will be displayed for better clarity.

Hide the subscription widget if only one selling plan is available

If this setting is enabled and the product is mapped to only one selling plan (set to be sold as a subscription only), then the widget will not appear. Instead, a direct option to add the subscription to the cart will be shown.

Styling the widget appearance

Now we'll move to the next tab called Styles, where you can customize the appearance of different parts of the widget, including background color, border color, border width, border radius, margins, padding, and more, depending on the section you want to edit.

For example, we’ll implement changes to different sections and observe how the widget’s appearance updates accordingly.
