Email Notifications

Loop Subscription automatically sends emails to your customers based on the various subscription events. These emails keep your customers informed about their ongoing subscriptions and empower them to take timely actions as per their choice.

How to access the Customer Email Settings?


These notifications can be accessed by going to Settings > Notification. These emails can be turned on/off as per your business needs.



Types of Customer Email Notifications


Following customer email notifications are available in the Loop subscriptions.


Notification Type

Description

New subscription

Sent to the customer when they start a new subscription

Customer portal link email

Sent to the customer when they request to generate a new customer portal link

Subscription rescheduled

Sent to the customer when their subscription is rescheduled

Subscription delayed

Sent to the customer when their subscription is delayed

Subscription paused

Sent to the customer when their subscription is paused

Subscription resumed

Sent to the customer when a subscription is resumed back

Subscription marked for cancellation

Sent to the customer when their prepaid subscription is marked for cancellation

Subscription cancelled

Sent to the customer when their subscription is cancelled

Subscription reactivated

Sent to the customer when their subscription is reactivated

Subscription expired

Sent to the customer when their subscription has expired

Upcoming order

Sent to the customer to remind them about the upcoming subscription order

Order skipped

Sent to the customer when their upcoming order is skipped

Order unskipped

Sent to the customer when their order is unskipped

Order partially billed

Sent to the customer when a subscription order is partially billed due to a few items being out of stock

Product out of stock

Sent to the customer when a subscription order is delayed or skipped due to items being out of stock

Payment failed with retries left

Sent to the customer when their payment fails and will be automatically reattempted

Last payment retry left

Sent to the customer when their payment fails and only one retry is remaining

Payment failed

Sent to the customer when their payment fails after the final retry or retry is not enabled

Card expiring

Sent to the customer when their card is about to expire. Emails will be sent out at 30, 15, and 3 days before card expiry date.

Customer activation mail

Sent to the customer when they start a new subscription and have not created the Shopify customer account



Types of Admin Email Notifications


Following admin email notifications are available in the Loop subscriptions.

Send to the admin when a new subscription is created

Subscription renewed

Send to the admin when a subscription is renewed

Subscription paused for construction

Send to the admin when a subscription is paused for construction

Subscription resumed

Send to the admin when a paused subscription is resumed

Subscription cancelled

Send to the admin when a subscription is cancelled

Order skipped

Send to the admin when an upcoming order is skipped

Order shipped

Send to both the admin and user once an order has been shipped out

Product out of stock

Send to both the admin and user before or on order deadline day if items are out of stock

Payment failed with retry #1

Send to both user and admin after one automatic payment failure and automatic reattempt

Payment failed with retry #2

Same as above but after two automatic failures and automatic reattempt

Payment failed with retry #3

Same as above but after three automatic failures; no more retries will be attempted

Payment charged successfully after retry #3

Sent to both user and admin if funds are captured within 24 hours after final notice



How to edit the Email Template?


Loop allows you full control to edit the Email templates on Loop using HTML to customize your email alerts being sent to your customers. You can do this by clicking on any of the blue hyperlinks on the Email Notification page. It will open a new page which will feature an HTML code editor. Customize your email using Email Variables to add a touch of personalization to your emails.

You can also preview how your template looks to the customer by going to the preview button next to the Body button.



You can also send test mail to check its appearance before it reaches your customers, ensuring everything looks as expected.
