Rebuy works hand-in-hand with Shopify to pull in the subscription selling plans you’ve set up through Loop. Since Shopify is the source of truth, Rebuy simply fetches those details so the right subscription options show up for your customers.
The benefit? Everything stays in sync automatically. You don’t have to juggle subscription data in different tools, and your customers always see the latest options without extra effort on your part. It’s designed to feel seamless for you as a merchant, while the behind-the-scenes syncing runs asynchronously to keep things fast and reliable.
How to connect Loop with Rebuy?
Integrating Loop subscriptions with Rebuy is a straightforward process that enables your store to display personalized subscription offers. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started.
Prerequisites:
✅ You must have a Loop subscription app installed on your store.
Follow these steps to complete the process:
- Log in to your Rebuy Admin panel and navigate to Integrations and then select Subscriptions integration. Toggle the integration ON and confirm. A “Connected” status will appear once successfully connected.
- Click on 'Connect subscriptions' and from the dropdown menu, select Loop as your primary subscription provider and click Connect.
- [Optional] Resynchronize Selling Plan Data by Navigate to Settings → Status in your Rebuy Admin. Under Selling Plans, click Resync to fetch the latest product plan data.
Limitations
- Selling plan availability:Because Rebuy pulls selling plans straight from Shopify, it doesn’t apply Loop’s availability rules. This means selling plans set to be hidden in at different touchpoints such as storefront may still appear in on smart carts and other Rebuy features.
- Bundle selling plans: Rebuy also doesn’t apply checks for bundle-specific selling plans. If you’ve created a bundle plan in Loop, it may still show up in Rebuy touchpoints like Smart Cart even if only the standalone product is added without the other bundle items.
Implementation of major use-cases
Enabling "Switch to subscription" in Smart cart
- Head over to the 'Smart cart' section and click on edit on the smart cart where you want to enable the subscription option.
- In the body section click on the 'Cart items' and enable the 'Switch to subscription' option.
- Click on 'Save' to enable the settings. Once your selling plans are synced, the subscription buttons will automatically appear in the Smart Cart.
Enabling "Subscription feature" on Checkout widgets, pop-ups and carousels
Once integrated, Rebuy will automatically enable other subscription features like:
- Checkout Page Widgets
- Pop-ups
- Carousels with subscription options
Enabling "Switch to subscription" on Reorder landing pages
- Head over to 'Landing pages' section in Rebuy and click on 'Reorder landing pages'.
- While creating the Landing page, enable the switch to subscription option to allow users to add subscription products directly.
Advance use-cases
Using Loop bundles with Rebuy smart cart
If you’re using Loop bundles and want to hide the “Switch to subscription”, "delete", or "Upgrade" buttons only for bundle line items in Rebuy smart cart to restrict customers from getting bundle selling plan discount on individual items, reach out to support@loopwork.co or the Rebuy team to disable this option for you.
