Create subscriptions manually

There are certain situations where creating a subscription manually becomes necessary. Using this feature in Loop, merchants can create a new subscription by directly entering the customer’s details along with the desired product and plan information.

This is particularly useful when a customer reaches out to the merchant’s support team requesting a subscription for a new product. In such cases, the recommended approach is to ask the customer to add the product directly from the customer portal or for the merchant to add it via the admin portal by editing the existing subscription, provided the shipping frequency and address remain the same.

However, if the new product requires a different shipping frequency or a new address that is not already present in the customer's saved details, a new subscription can be created manually using this feature.

Next, fill in the subscription details, including the billing date, frequency, minimum number of orders, and other relevant fields. You can also set a custom frequency based on your specific requirements.

Now, add any applicable discount and shipping details, such as the delivery price and title, according to your requirements.

Finally, check the box confirming that the customer agrees to the subscription agreement, then click the Create Subscription button.
